Behind Filtro there are two people: Vincenzo and Paola.
Their paths come from different worlds, but meet in the same desire: building something meaningful, human, and rooted in everyday life.
Travel, study, and curiosity - especially through France and Northern Europe - shaped their approach to coffee, hospitality, and space.
What stayed constant was the intention: bringing that care back home, to Salerno, without imitation and without shortcuts.
Coffee as a ritual, not a habit
At Filtro, coffee is prepared slowly and visibly. Brewing methods require attention, patience, and precision — and that’s exactly the point.
The process matters as much as the cup.
There is no bar to rush against. No pressure to drink and go. Instead, there is time to notice aromas, textures, conversations — or silence.
